About Sifu Rob
Sifu Rob Bibeau is a Doctor of Oriental Medicine and the Owner of Mountain Path Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine located in Albuquerque, NM. He is also a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps. His primary specialty was as an Infantry Officer, he also served as an Intelligence Officer and as a Military Advisor to a small and remote Company of Iraqi Army Soldiers during "the Surge" in 2007. In July of 2013 Captain Bibeau resigned his Commission due to the lingering result of wounds suffered from an IED blast in combat in Iraq in September of 2008. Captain Bibeau at the time of his resignation cited that while he very much wanted to be a Company Commander, he had no business taking other peoples son's back in to combat if he could not "play varsity level" every single day of a deployment.

Sifu Rob has over 20 years combined Martial Arts experience and in addition to his Kung Fu experience is a Black Belt in the Marine Corps Martial Arts Program (MCMAP). He began a study of Kung Fu during his first combat deployment to Iraq during "the Surge" in 2007. Studying at that time a Vietnamese style of Kung Fu known as Than Vo Dao under his friend, the Battalion's Medical Officer. Sifu Rob later began an intense training regimen under Sifu Mario Figueroa (the creator of the Shen System and Shen Style of Kung Fu) as an alternative therapy to assist in his recovery from combat injury.
Rob now continues his advanced training with Sifu Steven Perez and Sifu Orlando Ayala of Southern 5 Chinese Boxing Academy. As a licensed Doctor of Oriental Medicine he has been working diligently on serving the Veteran Community by specializing in effective treatments for the various needs of the Veteran population.
